15 Minutes of Fame! Plus the Video!!

This morning I received a very surprising phone call from Liz Hogan, a reporter for KNWA! She said she was working on a story for today's five, six, and ten o'clock news about starting a business during a poor economy and she wanted to interview me at the store. I immediately got butterflies.

If you know me on any level you know that I'm not the best at getting words out of my mouth, let alone on camera!! I came to my senses and called Liz back. She said that she had a meeting with her producers and they suggested contacting me because they had seen our Grand Opening Event in this month's Celebrate Magazine. I was ecstatic!

I rushed to take a shower and make myself presentable (Mondays and Wednesdays are my full day of class days and i usually roll out of bed) and ran up to the store in an hour. Liz and her very nice camera man showed up ten minutes later and the rest is history!

Each cast (5, 6, and 10) were different and Liz gave me a shout out at the end of the 6 o'clock stating that she was impressed that I am a full time college student (18 hrs), and I have opened my own store, and I have several interior deign clients on the side!
