Shout out to all of our Gossip Girl fans out there!!! Are you as excited about season five as we are? Autumn is on the way... and in Northwest Arkansas fall is one of the most beautiful seasons of the year, however, the weather can be slightly chilly. At Riffraff we're not complaining though, because we are obsessed with our fall and winter apparel!!!

Thus, for our second September Issue "love list" we were looking for a photo shoot with fall/winter garments. We fell in love with a spread in Elle called 'Hide and Seek'. The heavy furs combined with rich, gem tones makes for an elegant yet earthy feel. Knits and furs are also fabulous because they're oh so cozy without being frumpy.

Below, we've recreated the photo shoot with pieces from Riffraff, but with apparel appropriate for everyday! One of our very favorite items is the High Waisted Wide Leg Camel Pant. In the publication world, the September Issue for fashion mags is about as big as it gets. Elle, Vogue, Marie Claire, Vanity Fair, Harper's Bazaar, and the rest go all out. Literally. The September Issue dictates wardrobes, and makes or breaks designers. 

After scouring and studying every September Issue, we picked out our favorite editorial spreads from four of the major magazines. Then, using the spreads as inspiration, we recreated the looks with merchandise and apparel from Riffraff! Now you can rock designer trends, but in everyday clothing and on an affordable budget. 

Our first "love list" was modeled after a photo shoot in Harper's Bazaar. We loved the British theme and strong primary colors. We hope you are as inspired as we were!

Qpon Revolution

Attention all smart phone users… Riffraff is proud to announce that we are involved in the new Northwest Arkansas Qpon Revolution app! If you are from the central part of Arkansas you might already be aware of this app. They have now branched out into the northwest part of Arkansas and they plan to expand into Texas and Tennessee!

A little bit about how Qpon Revolution works. This is a free App that can be downloaded on you Iphone or Droid cellular device. Once you have the App you can browse to see what businesses in your area have “Qpons” available. The App is set up by categories, which makes it easy to navigate through to find just what you’re looking for! Once you’ve found a business that interest you, you can then become a “VIP” of that particular business, this will then allow for push notifications to notify you every time that business updates their coupons. Each business updates their coupons whenever they like, some can last for a month and others could last an entire year! Once you find a coupon that interests you, you can click redeem, once this is clicked the other screen of the coupon begins to spin, once the coupon begins spinning you then have 5 minutes to go to the register and redeem your coupon. After the 5 minutes are up the coupon is marked as used and cannot be used again on that same cellular device!

It is a pretty neat way of advertising, especially since almost everyone has a smart phone these days! So be sure and download this fabulous new App! Riffraff is proud to say that we are one of the first retailers to be a part of this App in Northwest Arkansas, and the team at Qpon Revolution are busy adding more and more businesses to the system each day!

SPOTTED at riffraff

 One of our favorite trends this fall is spots, polka dots, and everything in between! Spots are so simple, but make a huge statement at the same time. The best part is that dots/spots come printed on a variety of garments, thus there's always something for everyone's taste. We're personally fans of the dressy spot; it gives a drab, formal outfit a pop of fun!

It's the Friday before the first Arkansas football game and Fayetteville is already buzzing!! The excitement is contagious as fans pour into town and tailgates are set up.
