Contributor of the Week! Kelly Cooper!

Kelly Cooper is our contributor of the week here at Riffraff! We love Kelly! Not only because she's smart, fun, spunky, and fabulous but because she has great talent!

Kelly graduated from the U of A in 2006 with a Bachelors of Interior Design and Associate of Art.  After an amazing opportunity with Tucker Sadler Architects, a stint in the Vendor world at PepsiCo and a year of advertising and event coverage at Citiscapes Magazine, she took a really close look at her career path and decided to get back into what she's most passionate about... Hair, Beauty, and Fashion Industry!
Kelly is currently attending Paul Mitchell, the School in Fayetteville and all of a sudden school/work doesn't feel like it... "I'm already in love" says Kelly. She plans to someday service a large hair/make up clientele at her own salon/studio and do complete styling for clients interested in make-overs from hair to wardrobe and home.
Hey Kelly-- sign me up!!
Kelly loves spending time with her family and friends, growing deeper in her relationship with Jesus Christ, live music, working out, anything related to fashion and the arts, sports and her dog (who she claims as her child) Sophie!

I asked Kelly a couple of questions for fun, here's her answers...

What's your favorite musical artist?:  I LOVE MUSIC! Hard to pick a fave... hmmm... Maroon 5, Coldplay, Robin Thicke. Recently been digging Estelle, Tristan Prettyman and Band of Horses.

What's your favorite Fayetteville Landmark?: Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Football Stadium!!!

If you could have dinner with anyone living or dead it would be: Rachel Zoe

Kelly's line at Riffraff includes hand drawn prints, Painted furniture, and of course... her very stunning hair pieces! Kelly just brought in a new delivery full of fabulous colors for Fall and Razorback games!! I have one for myself!! Kelly also can create custom hair pieces for weddings or special events! Stop by Riffraff today and try one on for yourself!

Special Days...

I just had to take a couple minuets before I went to bed to send a special shout out to our blogging friends, Lindsey and Ashley!

Lindsey traveled all the way from Memphis Tennessee and Ashley from Centerton to visit Riffraff last Friday.  The second they walked in the store we all recognized each other from our blogs, laughed, and have instantly became buddies! It's amazing how you feel like someone can be your best friend even though you've never met, all because of these addictive little things we call blogs.  They are the sweetest girls you will ever meet and I really, really enjoyed visiting with them!

This evening I noticed on Lindsey's blog that she just posted a whole post just about Riffraff and her time in the store! She said the sweetest things about the store and raved about her necklace she purchased.  It's one of our favorites too! Her post completely made my weekend. After you read her post HERE, you will completely understand!

It's special days like this, just hearing kind words from a friend makes everything, including the long hours (notice the time), all the more worth while.  A special thank you to every one of our customers and steadfast followers for all of your support!!

Meet Jessica!

Hey Everyone! I'm Jessica Wood, Kirsten's NEW employee which I am very excited about! Today was my first day at Riffraff and I loved it! I am going to be a Senior at the U of A majoring in Interior Design and minoring in Marketing. I am only a Sophomore in the Interior Design Program because I changed my major last fall so I have three more years of school ahead of me but who's in a hurry, right?

Some more about me...
I absolutely love cats! I left all four of mine back at home for my dad to babysit, luckily my roommate brought her cat. Within the past year I got a long-haired Chihuahua named Bella, she is now my favorite thing in the entire world. I think she has more clothes than me! Food is also another thing I love, pizza and bread are my two weaknesses. Maybe just Italian food in general is a weakness! I love to spend all the time I can with my friends, we shop, travel, go on bike rides around town, watch movies, etc. When I am not with my friends I am being creative in some way. I'm either painting on a canvas, organizing something, or working on a project around my house (painting rooms and rearranging furniture).

Come and see me at Riffraff! I will be happy to help you with any design questions you might have!
